Silence!!!!!

Silence!!!!!!
Silence –that’s the word my teacher always ‘shouts’ in the class!!!! This silence can evoke hell lot of emotions in you….i mean when you are alone, this silence becomes your companion…..there are times when you want to be left alone in this world…you want everything around you to be calm and silent…..well that’s the heaven you feel……I mean those silent moments seems to tell you every thing……when you are worried and tensed be calm….and just see the magic that spells…….ah! What bliss it is to have a silent surrounding….. even while studying most of us prefer silence……when you are silent your mind is composed….all the best ideas come when there is silence around…..i guess that’s the reason they say ‘speech is silver and silence is gold’ hmmm….whatever it is ……gold or silver…..i love silent moments……I prefer being alone rather than in a crowd with hell lot of noise all around….you know sometimes it is better to be alone but that doesn’t make you lonely…….
BUT…..the same silence can scare you to death at times…..you get all weird thoughts when there is silence around….just image….there is no one around you and its mid night…..there is this so called pin drop silence…..you can hear only clock ticking and somewhere very far an old rusted door opening and suddenly a wild looking black cat falls …..Hmmmm how does that sound??? Scary isn’t? And that must be one of the parts of some horror movies you have seen…..well the point is ‘silence’…here the silent moments seems to tell everything…….it is left to your imagination anyway…..
Now as it is general human tendency I even think of the other side of it…. I mean it could cost you a lot when you are silent at times……instead of keeping numb….if you talk something, who knows your speech might give a ray of hope to someone or inspire someone or for that matter it may be even for a cause!!!
Of late you must have seen many celebrities coming and raising their voice for some or the other cause…I am sure this must have worked, at least to some extent, because people in India or anywhere for that matter listen to their favorites …just imagine what would have happened had they remained silent??
So whatever it is….this silence can make wonders and also disasters…..
Now I wonder is silence really gold…………..
