Its not the same now.....

Its not the same now...everything around is changing and that change is slow,yet fast..everything is changing slowly..but then after sometime when you look back you would say...'i don't believe this..it all seems like yesterday'..well yeah..it all seems like yesterday...

Its strange how quick the time drifted away from us...On my 18Th birthday when i told my dad how excited am about the whole 'am-a-major-now' thing..he looked at me for a while without saying a word and then finally said.."you are already 18??..its been 18 years since i took you into my hands for the first time ??.time's a thief"..Actually true..time's a thief..you never know how things have happened and they just happen..

In the whole excitement about being a major,a little thought that stuck my grey cells was..what am i celebrating for??Life's not been the same from past year to this year..yet am celebrating life..It was lot simpler as a kid..no complexities,no politics...if i did not like someones company i would just say 'katif' and move away and join some other group..but its not the same now..even if i don't like someone..i cant openly say it..(though something deep inside yells..say katiff!!)..It was never an issue talking to a guy as a kid.. but now!..it would surely invite people for some gossip...Kevin Arnold(of Wonder Years) said.."When you are a kid,you are a little of everything...a little of scientist,a little of house maker,a little of prankster,a little of sports person in every sport..."(not the exact words but something to the same effect)so true..but growing up seems like giving up each of these things..Finally you might end up being something which you have never thought of...When we were kids people would ask us what do you want to be when you grow up?(Seriously!..is that the age for kids to think what they want to be after 15 years from now!!)..We,with the most innocent faces would say, "Doctor!!"..Little do we know what a doctor does!!

I said that too!!..My sister and i would say we would start a hospital of our own and that the first floor would be taken care by her and ground floor by me!!!..And today say after 12-13 years later we both are in two total different fields..forget biology..i don't even read physics and chemistry now!!..

Being the youngest child of the house i am still treated as a little fragile kid...but things will never be the same as before...i cant play in the mud water anymore without asking for strange glares from neighbors ,cant play cricket with my cousins[:P],cant cry for a balloon outside the exhibition,cant play from dawn to dusk and sleep peacefully without worrying about the world around and most importantly without thinking about my tomorrow!!

Hey wait!!..why am i cribbing so much??..am just in my teens and am still a kid for my parents!!...Life is changing and certainly that's good because 'change' is inevitable and 'change' is healthy:P:P ...Life's fun even now..in its own way..Cheers:)

Hmm..learnt them as toddlers and as yearling probably we were meant to learn only those..but now its time to redefine them..and i redefine them according to the things which i get when i hear that alphabet...whoooooooooo :)

A--alarm;Accounts

Alarm- the evil thing which would not let me sleep beyond 5:30 in the morning :(..Day starts with putting it on snooze and getting under covers again..but it goes again and again forcing me to get up..eeerrrr...

After that painful 'A'..another 'A' fills my day..'Accounts'..trial balances,balance sheets,debit and credit,amalgamation..blah blah..they go round and round my head through out the day...

B--Bounvita;Books;Blue

:D Well ya!..the first thing i have in the morning at breakfast table..yaaaaayyeee.. Am a Bournvita girl..

Books-total addiction..on a deserted island leave me with some food,water,clothes,cell with good coverage(ample balance is a definite parameter) and a good book..i can easily survive :D

Am kinda obsessed with this colour Blue..Love the stuff which is in blue..have hell lotta blue dresses too...:D..and now mom is totally against me buying anymore blues ..hehe..

C--Classes ;Crushes

Classes-they eat away major part of my life now..probably they eat away every one's life now..cant help but to attend and snore there..

D--Driving;

Ahem!..am on wheels all the time..God!..its really really annoying!!..Aha!..driving 42 kms per day isn't fun..that too on the royal roads of Hyderabad and the best managed traffic..

E--Eighteen

Yeha!..am 18 and am totally loving it!!..now am legal to do anything i want to :P

F--Friends and F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Friends-one of the treasures of my life..They make my day with all the silly and senseless talk..miss most of them though now..*snob snob*

F.R.I.E.N.D.S...am smiling already:)..Of all the 6..Chandler is my fav..his sarcastic one liners are just awesome..second comes Joey :)

G--Green

Presently my fav colour(besides blue)..total love with this colour..so much that even my room's curtains are green..(Alright confession time..my mum always brings green curtains for all the bedrooms in the house..but nevertheless..its my present colour)

H--Hmmmm

Wanna play safe and intelligent??..just say hmmmm with a straight face.Works when someone asks for an opinion about something of which you have no clue at all..

I--Ice cream

Ice creams are my love!!..can eat any number of them in a day..Feast and cornetto are the winners!!..Oh my God!I need one now!!!!!...

J--Jungle

Wondering what jungle has to do with my contemporary life?Well, it forms part of one of my wildest fantasies...I go on an adventure in some African jungle and on my way am lost...I then rise to the occasion and fighting all the odds i reach my camp before day breaks with all the valuable stuff in my bag which i collected from the jungle...:)

K--Keerthi

That's my name and i looooooovvvveee it..You can always find the last pages of my book filled with my name..err some times neighbor's book too in the class..:D

L--Little Flower Junior College

Aaaah!! The best college with the best people.The two years i ve spent were the most memorable years for me.No offense but when all my counterparts were craving for a 5 mins break; i was sitting outside my canteen sipping appy and cheering my friends playing throw ball...I totally miss LF given the state of my present college...

M--McD;Money

McD..almost formed an integral part of college life now..Had best times there and ya..that McD's clown kinda scares me...

N--Nostalgia;Nallakunta road

Nostalgia rocks!!..i often get nostalgic and that feeling is really niceeee...when in pain get back to your flashback..seriously helps..

Nallakunta road...formed an integral part of my day to day life...travel by the road 6 times a day..hehe..probably i even know number of manholes we have on that road now...

O--Optimism

Optimism is my way of life..I believe i can cook well one day without burning anything into coal and sing in such way that people will 'deekthe rehajaaenge'...*big grin with head held high*

P--Pani puri;Paneer butter masala..

I can go to any extent to have these two..pani puri is the ultimate saviour of my taste buds...and paneer..do i have to say something about it!!!..the hot dripping butter and the paneer camouflaged in masala speaks!!...*eyes rolling*
