Lost in the world of loneliness,
With eyes speaking thousands of unspoken words,
I wait for my love by the banks of the river,
The setting sun holding the testimony.
World around is moving with spring after spring,
But seems still, waiting for you.
Walking down the lane, trying to get the glimpse of blossoms,
Speaking their language of love, I smile at the stroke of your memories.
They say her dead warrior shall never be brought home,
But my love, I know it’s just their way of seeing things.
They do not know your promise to me,
You shall be mine for eternity.
The setting sun comes back soon, standing by the promise,
And something deep says you shall too.
Till then I shall wait by the river,
Coming back with a sweet hope to see you...
